If you are
interested in making money, just bank most of your ores and sell them for profit,
or use them for smithing, crafting and runecrafting skills.
On the map, mines
are labeled with a grey pickaxe and there are some special mining areas, such
as shooting star, Arainian mine and Living Rock Caverns. Personally, I like Living
Rock Caverns best, as it has rich coal rocks and gold rocks, which can be mined
for multiple amounts of coal and gold.
Once found the
mining spot, start to mine certain ore with your certain levels. For me, I am
now at level 42, in order to make more money instead of leveling up only, I
prefer to mine gold ore. It is valuable and always in demand, it is also can be
used to make jewellery or smelted into bars for smithing experience.
To mine ores, you
only need to left-click once on any rock which contains ores. The color of a
rock’s vein is similar to the ores’ color, that is to say, a black vein will
yield coal ore, a dark blue vein will yield mithril ore. Right click and select
prospect, then you could learn which ore the rock contained.
