The barbecue mat work really good, especially for things that like to fall apart like fish filet. The few cooks I have done with these have gone well and the meat has stayed moist. The cleanup was way easier than my other mesh and cast iron cooking plates. It is so perfect for fish or things that might fall through the grates of my grill. The most important thing to know is not to get your grill too hot! Read the instructions. This is an awesome product and I love the 7 year warranty. Goodbye Heavy duty foil shaped like a boat to cook and maintain moist meats on the grill. After I watched the video the next step was my attempt using the YRYM HT grill mat.
I dont know how it works, but I like it. Less mess, moist, well cooked food. Best burger in a long time. Also, I’m a little obsessive about a clean cooking surface and am very pleased .
Heavy duty with an excellent warranty! Used many competitors products in the past with varying degrees of satisfaction. The BBQ grill mat should withstand the test of time. We’ll see! After spending hours cleaning the racks, I found this product and purchased two mats to cover both racks! Amazed at hour evenly everything cooks and does not burn! Not only does the food taste better, but the grill is CLEAN!!
My father told me about these, I picked up a pack of barbecue mat and they work great. Ive cooked a bunch of different things on them so far and no complaints at all. They clean easily and cook everything evenly. At first I was quite dubious about this product. It takes some convincing(for me, anyway)to get over the idea of foods boiling in their own juices. However, after several uses I think this a pretty good product. You may need to back off on normal cook times. They have revolutionized our grilling. Everything - salmon, chicken, burgers, veggies are great cooked on the mats. Will be traveling with these where we rent condos with a BBQ.
Started with a bunch of prawns on one side. Flipped it a cooked a large Salmon filet on the other side. Both came out great. Very even heat distribution. Can't wait to try other meats. We have found the mats to be very helpful when grilling and very easy to clean up. We prepared beef tenderloin, various fish fillets and burgers. Where have you been all my life. Great product. Makes using the grill a breeze. No need for metal brushes to clean the grill. The Kona grill mat wipe clean after grilling chicken in heavy BBQ sauce. I just used this product on our gas grill last night with 4 pieces of blackened tilapia. Admittedly I was a little worried how the mat would work but literally after a few minutes the fish was grilled perfectly, didn't stick and most importantly tasted delicious! Clean up was a breeze and I am looking to try vegetables tonight on it. Highly recommend this product !

how to keep grill clean
I bought barbecue mat and I used the black one first, it lasted for 6 months and we use the grill EVERY WEEK twice. For some reason the golden one is the worst, it's durability is not that good but fortunately, there's a 3rd one and we've been using that one for now. This was a replacement for another brand of grill mesh mats and I gave them a 5 rating since they are much better all the way around. The mesh is sturdier and there is no binding around the edges to come lose. These are easily washed in the sink with a soft brush and soap, dry quickly and store easily since they are a little bit sturdier than the other brand. They are excellent for veggies, shrimp and other small or delicate items for the grill.
The barbecue mat grills worth every penny I paid, I was prepping a BBQ party and these worked perfectly. One of the mat though, was burnt after several use and I come to realize that the temperature recommendation is at 500 degrees! Make sure you read the instructions first if you want the best results! Fantastic! I've used mine a few times now and I can't say enough about them. I usually throw two on my grill, side by side, I have a big built in gas grill. I can put all my fresh sliced veggies on it, including small pieces like sliced mushrooms, French green beans, etc. None fall thru!!! I haven't tried the dishwasher yet, however they wash up with ease in the sink, no "scrubbing" required. I'm going to order a second set now as I cook all year long on my grill!
Food never falls through the grill plates with BBQ grill mat, used these to cook chicken grill and it turns out fantastic. No sticking, no issues with getting burned, easily clean with warm sink water. This grill Mesh mat is great. Its perfect when I'm grilling small pieces of meat or seafood. It kept food from falling into the grill and came off the mat easily. Also easy to clean and reuse it over and over again. This grill Mesh mat is great. These mats are great. Was skeptical that these things were as easy to clean as reported...they are! I use them in my electric smoker all the time and it saves from having to scrub down the racks. I wanted to try since my porcelain coated grates are not that great. I bought this one because the price was right and if it didn't work, it wouldn't break the bank. I was really surprised how well it works . I thought it was excellent . I did steaks and vegetables., nothing stuck to the mesh and cleaning was easy. Very pleased with this bbq mesh. Sits right over the regular bbq grate and prevents smaller or more delicate pieces of meat, fish or vegetables from falling between the slats of the regular grate. Easy cleanup - just put it in the dishwasher & the job is done!

How to use Butcher Paper for Smoking Briskets
I received the butcher paper promptly as promised and used it on a 12# packers brisket last weekend in place of wrapping it in foil at the stall. The brisket was phenomenal, the bark was not soggy nor was it hard as a rock thanks to the pink butcher paper. Quality product and storage container. I used last weekend for my Rec Tec pellet smoker grill on a 15 lb. USDA Prime Brisket. The brisket was smoked at 225 for 13.5 hours at which time I wrapped it in the YRYM HT butcher paper and continued to cook for another 6.5 hours. Replacing aluminum foil with your product resulted in a perfectly cooked brisket with an exceptional crusty bark that had an amazing smoky flavor. From a customer service standpoint, the owner of YRYM HT contacted me today to see if I was satisfied with my purchase. Outstanding passion for their product and business!
My husband was looking for a particular type of butcher paper to use for slow-cooking meat in his Traeger. We looked and found precisely what we were needing. It works! We ordered one day and received it 2 days later. I use this paper when I’m smoking meat low and slow. Once the meats get to 160 degrees (f), I mop or spray it with apple juice then double wrap in peach paper and put it back in the oven at 225 degrees until the internal temp of the meat is 200 degrees. It’s called a Texas Crutch and this method works well. I use this Butcher Paper for Smoking Briskets. It is durable and does a good job of holding in the Juices. It is the best I have used.
I've heard of brown butcher paper for years talking with a lot of the local experts of self proclaimed masters of the smoke pit. I finally got the notion to try it for myself. I was floored by the improvements this made to my BBQ. If you're trying out smoking meat you must add this to your arsenal. Great product! I bought pink butcher paper to use in smoking meats. I also hoped it would be good for making full size drawings of furniture parts and also for protecting my bench when I glue up woodworking projects. It is goof for all three uses! This paper is great and really helps keep the meat moist while maintaining the bark. Also, it's the perfect size, made in 'Murrica, and shipped in a hard tube which also doubles as storage. The company is very responsive as well and I'm happy to support small family businesses that care about their customers.
I smoke a lot of brisket and was very pleased with how this batch turned out. I’ve always used foil the last couple of hours but no more ! The peach butcher paper is the way to go ! I finally had the opportunity to open up my peach paper and try it out! I had smoked a brisket flat, cured as pastrami, and when it hit 150ยบ it was time to wrap. The paper is very good quality. Tough enough to withstand the task at hand, but not so thick that it couldn't be folded around the meat. If I have a complaint it would be that the storage tube could be a 1/4" wider to make it easier to reinsert the roll of paper. Obviously, as I use more of the paper, this will become less of an issue.

brown butcher paper keep smoking meat insulated and moist
We purchased the butcher paper after having watched smoke pit masters claim it was better than foil. We love the difference it makes to smoked meats. The roll is thick and was a good price for the quantity we received. We received our paper quick. I would recommend this product and this seller. My son ordered this product. He is a meat cutter for a large supermarket chain. He used this recently when he smoked a brisket. It was so moist and delicious. He said this paper allowed the smoke flavor in while keeping the juices in the meat. It was delicious. My husband wanted to try this instead of doing the foil wrap he is still undecided on what method he prefers.
I smoke a lot of meats, and have always used aluminum foil to wrap meat (a.k.a., Texas crutch) for part of the cook. I decided to try butcher paper on ribs. It worked great. This butcher paper wrapped easily and stayed on. It does not crimp like foil wrap, but it hugged the ribs sufficiently. I was concerned that the juices would flow out of the paper and make a huge mess. No. The brown butcher paper actually absorbed some of the juices and BBQ sauce and clung to the meat, keeping it insulated and moist. Even though the paper became wet and greasy, nothing leaked through the paper and into my smoker. The ribs were some of the most juicy ribs I've done. Highly recommended for BBQ smoking.
I used the brown butcher paper to wrap a beef brisket when it was about half way through smoking. It was a small brisket without a lot of fat on it, so we were afraid it might not be a fair test since there was a good possibility it would turn out dry. But the paper seemed to hold the moisture in a lot better than if we hadn't used the paper. The result was delicious. This is how we will be smoking briskets from now on. Used it in the smoker for a roast and it was the juiciest roast I’ve ever eaten! Now we use it for everything we smoke.
I love the size of the roll. It keeps my meat products fresh and when I look in my freezer and see all the pink packages, it makes me happy, happy, happy! This paper really works! Smoked brisket, pork but, and tri-tip. Better than foil to work with, plus, makes me feel like a real butcher. It worked just like I hoped after watching cooking shows for years I finally wrapped and finished some beef ribs wrapped in the butcher paper they were great.

butcher paper is a MUST HAVE for the serious backyard pitmaster
I have heard that the butcher paper is the ideal paper to wrap meat in! I want to use the paper to serve our meat on as well with plastic trays! I ordered butcher paper to wrap smoking brisket. Was shipped out fast, as most Amazon purchases are. Came to me very well packaged. Used this to wrap a pork butt after it stalled at 160 internal temp. The paper was really sturdy and the end result of the wrapping and cooking was great. I usually use foil to wrap but I wanted to try this paper and it worked really well. Presentation of your food is important and when you serve on butcher paper you get a BIG wow factor! The butcher paper is a MUST HAVE for the serious backyard pitmaster!
This is my first time using butcher paper for my cooking needs and so far so good! Very solid product that held up after hours under 250 degree heat. Next time around I will get the larger size for my cooking needs. I just smoked 45 pounds of brisket with this butcher paper and let me tell ya, it definitely makes the meat way more juicier and tender! I feel like butcher paper is way better than foil because it seems to be able to hold the moisture in while letting it breath, as for tin foil; it seems to make the meat like almost pot roast. (doesn't allow it to breath at all). I will continue to by this product and have told several friends about it. Works great on finishing briskets and even turkey breasts.
We used the brown butcher paper to wrap our brisket half way through the smoking process, and it was great! The value for this amount of butcher paper is unbeatable anywhere else. We are set for awhile, but definitely recommend for all your smoking needs. I can't count how many briskets I have made. I typically use foil to wrap and finish the cook but I figured I would try the butcher paper. I can't believe the difference in the meat! It is much more tender and juicy than when I used foil. Definitely will continue to use this!
My son was thrilled to have his own paper and the the many other cooking items that I included in his gift. He prefers using the paper because it can preserve more juiciness and the paper makes for a quicker clean-up. Great food grade paper, ideal for smoking. I've used foil in the past but it starts to steam the meat a little bit and you end up with pot roast-esq short ribs. When the meat hits the stall when smoking you can wait it out, several hours for short ribs and brisket or you can go with the texas crutch. Wrap that meat, speed up the time and save the bark, unlike foil.

YRYM HT BBQ gill mat is easy to use for grilling
I really liked the ease of use of the YRYM HT BBQ Grill Mats Non Stick (Set of 5).
I opened this and I suggest unrolling the mats and allowing them to relax and lay flat for 24 hours. See my pictures using them inside a Kamado style grill. They were so easy to use and I did not lose a shrimp. Tasted fantastic and so much easier than using skewers. There is no drip and flare-up from a basket. Clean up is as easy as advertised. I allowed the mat to cool. Using water and a sponge it just wiped clean.
You can get five of these mats in an order from YRYM HT store on Amazon. A good bargain! The five BBQ grill mat this comes with are strong, durable, and easy to store. The non stick grill mat Works fine on a grill, even a small one. You can’t let flame hit it, but that’s fairly easy since it stops grease from dripping under it so the flames a off to the side. I used it in an oven to line a small broiling pan too, and it works as well as aluminum, and without the waste. Reusable and easy to clean with soap and water.
I do a lot of grilling and I have to admit that I am a bit lazy about cleaning my grill--sure, I clean the top, but any grease that leaks down onto the parts below is likely to stay there until I buy a new grill. As such, these are a great investment for keeping my grill alive a lot longer. They are incredibly easy to use and cleanup is as simple as running a sponge across them a few times. These also seem quite durable--even using metal utensils, I saw no scratches or damage to the mats.
Although it doesn't give you the full charcoal flaming flavor, it still does its job by cooking it and you can still taste the flame a bit. I do love the fact that this holds the pieces that will fall through the cracks of the grill, such as chopped vegetables and thinly sliced meat! Cleaning after is easy! I'm surprised this didn't melt on top of fire! That still boggles my mind! Overall, I like it! I will be using it very often!
The BBQ grill mat is really non-stick and the food slides right off. You don't get the grill marks on your food, so if that matters to you, these do prevent that. They are super easy to clean, just wipe them down and roll them up for storage. We've tried them with meat, veggies and potatoes and everything cooks evenly on them and slides off them well.
